Will Curletti for Great Barrington Finance Committee

To the Editor:

Our town and its finances are at a crossroads. Decisions regarding our tax structure and our school district will be made over the next few years that will affect Great Barrington for generations. Thankfully, Will Curletti is running for Finance Committee.

Will Curletti is, by far, the smartest person I know. Unlike many of the Great Barrington politicos, he doesn’t spend all his time telling you how smart he is. His humility and wit mask his more important traits. Will is amazingly insightful and empathetic. Personally, I have relied on Will Curletti for almost 30 years. Any time I have been in a tough spot, Will was there. Great Barrington is in a tough spot and I am glad Will is here.

Please vote for Eugene “Will” Curletti for Finance Committee on Tuesday, May 12.

PETER MOST: A more PURDfect design

Since no one is making any more developable land here, let’s design thoughtfully and maximize use wisely. Let the experts be in charge.

I WITNESS: Yiddishkeit

If someone in Hollywood were to make a musical about both sides of my family, they would have to call it “Schindler on the Roof.” That’s how good my Jew cred is.

For many of our neighbors, it is not an optimistic time as they face a daily battle with food insecurity. They can’t afford the basic, healthy foods that many of us take for granted.
